Hi,

I cant connect to other players! RA3!

I used a normal version of ra3 for some years and everythig has worked fine, including C&C-Online. But 3 days ago I had to install another Ra3 powered by origin, to play the add on of this game. Then I tried to start the old version, but it hasnt worked anymore ("Ssleay32.dll"). I tried it with hooking, but it hasnt helped.

So I said to myself, dont worry, you have a brand new second ra3. It works, I can login, join a game, but the guys always tell me, that I have no/failed con.

Yes, I have the newest patch for C&C online (2.0.5).

I have installed the 1. solution of your help, but it hasnt helped. I already deleted the old version and reinstalled the new ra3. I use Vista.

Please help me, I hate myself, that I installed a second ra3... so much trouble.

You probably have registry issue due to two ra3 installation:

Or u find and use a good registry cleaner (i recommend "ccleaner") after uninstalled all ra3 installation. Then install a new fresh copy of ra3 wich was working perfect with c&c:online

Or u can start over and install a new fresh copy of vista (that i dont recommend at all) and install the good ra3

Or wait someone else have a better idea atm

Peace

Read this post http://forums.revora...sues-solutions/

Especially this parts :

- I bought the games on Origin and the C&C:Online launcher keeps saying the installation cannot be found. Or: You can not login.

Solution 3

and

- I have trouble connecting to people online.

Solution 1

and this too on the way

- When starting a game through the launcher, I'm getting the following error: Missing Required file "Ssleay32.dll".

If after reading and apply solution, it still doesnt work

Post again here with log and staff will check it

Solution 3 brought not the wished result. With or without a hook in the box of origin changed nothing.

Solution 1 (download) neither.

The Ssleay32.dll problem is no longer a problem, because my old red alert 3 doesnt exists anymore.

Please focus on the originversion.I joined a lot of games and always the same answer of the hosts, your connection failed to the most players. I  could just played a game with theodorus. I asked him where he buyed his game and again, he said origin. Second evidence, that I can only connet to other originplayers. And these re very few. :(

If you tell me how, I will do. I am not Sheldon Cooper. :)

I had wrote your line C:\users... with my Username and my Ingameprofil in cmd but it said me cannot find anything.

I found a portchecktool. I used my IP-adress and typed all the TCP´s you gave me. It said always:,, Error, I could not see your service on MY IP-ADRESS on port (80) for example.

Reason: Connection timed out. Am I doing that right? Is that the reason? This shit is so tough.

Forgot about options.ini (im not in their core staff, and im a little confused about what he writed, if this work on regular edition, or not at all for any ra3)(on the way, the line i write about c:users, you had to put too your red alert 3 folder name as i didnt knew it by memory)

Let's go

To open your port, check this link http://portforward.com/

In the bottom of page, there is a link that show u a list of tons of routers, choise the one u have and follow the instructions carelly, u will be able to select your router and the game within, Then u just need to carefully do what they explain u

Do not edit options.ini.
