Gentool is great tool and no one would lose anything by using it, why do we start to see no-GT players in ZH? can't you make it required to play online? whats the point of having cheaters on game?

I do not speak for Revora.
But I would rather say that this is problematic. You should never force people to install 3rd Party software or any additional software. However in case someone joins my game i tell him that i only accept Gentool players and if he does not leave, i kik him.

Not to run ZH, but to play online. And we're not forcing it on anybody.

I support this idea for the sake of anti cheat. Right now it is either CNC-Online Launcher or GenTool that you can install to connect to server easily. At this point I do not think a restriction is worth looking into, because there are way more pressing concerns on the table. But when there is idle time I will reiterate this proposal. It's easy to identify GenTool users anyway, so you are not forced to play with potential cheaters.

I belive you should take the chance and wipe out cheating now. Due to the fact that C&C community is as small as it is we are still forced to play vs cheaters in a 3v3 unless we have the time to wait until 6 gentoolers show up. Cheaters will install gentool if they are forced too...
