You sure know that feeling hosting a 3v3 with an unconventional map like 3v3 lots of fun .and then it takes forever to fill the game -what to do in that time ?you might think ?. Tabing out is not possbile cause people cant join .making coffe go to toilet may some options but not the best.

After read this you never will have that problem again . just make right click on you generals icon and then add   -WIN    to the exe line there is.  the effect of that is huge  One click on the background and you in the game again.

 

From now no matter how long it take to set up a game you dont will be bored ,you can watch movie and surf the net while have a look at your game. I hope this helps some not very patient people out.

Ich bin zu blöd dafür; Ich hab das jetzt so verstanden das ich das Generals-Icon im Programmordner, hinter dem ".exe" noch ein "-WIN" schreiben soll? Aber dazu müsste ich die Linke Maustaste nehmen um das zu ändern, hab ich jetzt nicht ausprobiert sonst mache ich die Datei eventuell unbrauchbar. Sicher mache ich das falsch aber wäre nett eine Schritt-Für-Schritt-Anleitung für PC-Legastheniker zu bekommen.

Ok so people complaining about that its written to complicated .. ( no wonder most of them cant even Portforward the game )  so here is the Schimpans version 

 

1,) Search your generals Zero Hour ™ icon on the deskop

2.)  Left klick on the icon and choose the menü Eigenschaften / in Englisch properties 

3,) Then search for this line "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\generals.exe" 

4.) and make it like this line   "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\generals.exe" -win

5.) Simply add -win  dont forget Space 

6.) Klick ok 

7.) now your done! Congratulations! ,instead of complaining about long waiting times you can now do what ever you want on your Deskop.

 

Below some examples how you can use windowed mode . Play two games at the same time? no problem ! watching the box fight togehter and use Generals as chatroom? no problem ! Browse the internet ? no problem !  

 

Pls share this topic to poeple  when they complain about waiting times just say  google : revora topic 94932   .
