Title gives you the gist of the message; I am, experiencing trouble with the game loading textures. Primarily for space craft. Everything else works fine visually: lasers, bloom, heat effects etc, but there are no textures loading up at all. Just wonderfully smooth skins. I'll follow up with a screenshot later tonight when I get home from class.
Textures failing to load properly.

Did you play the game on the same pc before? Was it ok back then?
Did you try to fully reinstall the game? 95% of the time it solves the problem. If it did not, its probably a wrong graphical setting, graphic card driver incompatibility or maybe a direct x issue.

No, it's perfectly normal to have a graphical error in a game, millions of people have similar problems. If you feel foolish or depressed because of this, please call the gamer-abuse-lifeline 800-4-FUCKTHISGAME (free of charge from the US) immediately.
I think you should start tinkering with your graphic settings (resolution, detail level, software/hardware acceleration) through the autolaunch window (I think there's an option for that) and in the ingame options. You could also try to uninstall, redownload and reinstall PR, wait for a new version of PR (it'll probably come in a few months), try another mod and see how the textures look there, update your 3D driver or if nothing helps, reinstalling your operating system as a last resort.

I'll give it a shot. Won't reinstall my operating system though because that is quite the pain. I'll tinker around though with the settings and see what I can do.
EDIT: Directions unclear, set my computer on fire.
So I redownloaded, reinstalled, dicked around with the in-game options and I'm still left wanting in regards to the textures. The base game doesn't have the problem, but it seems to be only with PR (I'll hit up Thrawn's Revenge to confirm) that the textures seem to show no improvement between low and high settings.
