Sorry for being a little hasty on my presentation and not following the form, I would like to receive if possible any help so I can get my red alert 3 working.

I have fixed c&c3 and kw and they work flawlessly, however in the ra3 issue I cannot manage to pinpoint what is the cause for c&c online client and the gamedat file.

 

I'm using the latest 1.12 version being recently bought via Steam Retailer on the Thanksgiving sales. 

 

I'm receiving a application load error with a simultaneous CA public key Routine failed which closes my game afterwards. I recently installed c&c online client but found no problems with hooking the other games like c&c3 and kw. And yes, I used the steam method (shortcut and hook) to make them work. But when I came to RedAlert3, these errors started appearing. I tried the common fix methodology of restarting the computer, restarting steam, rehooking, verify integrity etc.

I'm using WIndows 7 Professional Edition

Used the Compatibility fix, but doesn't work.

Without c&c:online you can launch and play without problems?

Yes the game runs flawlessly without any problems when is unhooked.

You are running the game as admin I suppose? Did you try any compability settings?

I tried running the game as administrator and xp compatibility settings, still no change.

I FIXED IT

 

 

I dunno what happened, removed all compatibility issues, unhooked the game,deleted the shortcut. Then followed the solution of hooking, made a shortcut and tried starting ra3,it was doing it again.

Uninstalled Red Alert 3 Uprising and Red Alert 3, then installed red alert 3 before uprising. Started Red alert 3, then uprising and vice a versa. And found it that application load error and ca key routine is gone and it doesn't show anymore.

 

 

Please leave the topic open, as i have to do some tests with restarting pc/steam and allocating if the issue happens again.

So what happens with this fix?

I have to run ra3 from the steam library whilst having a shortcut and only running it from the steam library. Do not open c&c online program and start it from there. It does automatically open c&c launcher when doing it from the library.

 

Also, if u want to change from ra3 to c&c or generals without closing the c&c launcher, you have to close the launcher because it somehow opens a copy of c&c launcher and blocks the game from starting. So you basically open the c&c online and then running C&c from there.

Yeah, this is solved

 

You can mark it as answered, just somehow try to recreate this problem to see what's the actual fix because I did many things
