[solved]  //   My C&C Online software does not Hook with Red Alert 3! when i click on Hook, select Red Alert 3, nothing happens.

[Problem]  when i click on the short cut, the game wont start

Launch your game normally (without C&C Online Launcher )
After you've done it, open task manager, then end process of RA3.exe
Then open the launcher, click Red Alert 3 button

then steam gives an error message, ignore it,

then click on the RA3 icon at the bottom of the screen (the quick start bar)

thanks for replying, but "CNCOnline_Log" has nothing in it, the file is 0K.

when i have the C&C online software open, and i click the launch red alert3, the "command&conquer Red Alert3 " logo appeared on the middle of the screen, then after a few seconds it jus closes itself, In task manager, when the logo "Ra3" appearing, "Ra3.exe" was running, when the logo disappears, so does the "Ra3.exe"

CNCOnline_Log   jus picked up something, but that is due with using Revora launching, not with hooking. the solution would be hook the game, create short cut, then launch.... but mine doesnt hook!

No no, the solution is:

 

1. Create shortcut

2. Hook.

3. Launch using the shortcut.

when i click on RA3, nothing happens.

as you can see, it is set as admin, i closed my anti virus and firewall, short cut created

able to hook now!  but the game wont start. was able to run before hooking.

now when i click on the short cut, the game wont start ... plz help

 

"3. Launch the game using the shortcut Steam made for it on your desktop (if you don't have a shortcut, go into Steam and make one). The launcher should pop up, so select your game and off you go"

 

when i click on the short cut, the launcher did not pop up. I have uninstalled my anti-virus.

Can you check your error log again please?

Game: Red Alert 3

Red Alert 3 Install Path: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\

Started game with: "RA3.exe "

Caught CREATE_PROCESS_DEBUG_EVENT from Red Alert 3. Detaching...

ERROR: game.dat process not found.

 

 

this is because i tried launching the game via the launcher

Can you try this?
Launch your game normally (without C&C Online Launcher )

And see if does it work...
