Hello!
What exactly is your problem? Can you show me a screenshot of your installation directory (Program Files/EA Games/The Battle for Middle Earth/) to see which files are in there?
"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

On a first look this seems to be okay, can you post a screenshot of the problem as well?

Hi,
I am having the exact same "problem" that I have placed the widescreen patch file (_WSMaps.big) in my folder where it says to (I have installed 1.03, 1.05, and the launcher with 1.06 beforehand) but the game does not give me the option to change my resolution beyond the original options. There is no error screen, no crash or anything like that, there simply is no discernable difference between having the widescreen fix implemented and having it not there at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would really like to play this really awesome game in glorious widescreen! With no black borders!
Regards MagusVerborum.

Thank you very much for the swift help, I should have expected I had to do that. I'm not a frequent modder so as this was not explicitly stated, I didn't realize.
