I want to play all the missions in in-universe chronological order. Can anyone provide me with a mission timeline?

There is my take on it from quite a while back. There are some confirmed discrepancies with the official one, but for now I figure this is sufficient as an approximation.

*This little answer is solely my personal take on the question. I apologize if some of my 'facts' turn out otherwise

Well, do you have your own version of events that had happened in RA2?

Did you have had your own headcanon when you were playing the game?

Did you see something in the game that you thought should change?

If you had ideas, what did you do about them?

---------------------------------

I remember one of the things Speeder wanted when he started out about ten years ago was to balance the game. It was a simple idea, many competitive players of the game had some idea how to rebalance France, and then Yuri. Some people are players, and they made agreements on how they should play so as to gain a happier time. Speeder, along with a few others, had other ideas. And it was not so new.

http://web.archive.o...a.game-mod.net/

(Among the pages held within, was an explanation to why Rahn has an ini tag of [ASSN] - http://web.archive.o...e=yuri_infantry)

The original team was not so fancy, but includes a fellow fan of Sonic :p : http://web.archive.o....php?page=staff

And of course, there was no missions in the initial versions. MO1.2 is reportedly the best version out there... in the eyes of Graion at least, though it had never caught my attention since it had no missions. And by the way, it is still available in our Moddb page.

Slowly, the team grew include many more people, some of whom having their own fan RA2/YR modification projects - Doom Desire, Colony Wars, Red Resurrection, Project Phantom, etc. Each person contributed in some way or another. One could do the voxel art, one could do infantry, one could provide his/her voice, one could make missions, one could write and check the news, one could spare the resources needed to host our project.

I am a rather latecomer. I came to the forums sometime in 2012. I had played Mental Omega before, but I did not stick on to it. I played Speeder's MO2.0 campaign again, and I was overflowing with a desire to triumph over him on the difficulty level, and be the shittiest staff in the team. :D

Just kidding. But I did have my own vision of MO2.0's campaign. I thought of a world after the defeat of Mental Omega Device. I thought of MO2.0 being a continuation of YR Soviet campaign. I thought of the YR Allied campaign. I thought of the Psychic Isolator device mentioned in it.

And what did I do? I did this: http://forums.revora...-made-missions/. If that is too long to read, try this instead: https://www.youtube....h?v=UGWk9GcprTI

While my own fan campaign did not go into completion, they have propelled me to somewhat better stuff. And now I am well on my way to exceed Speeder and become the shittiest mission designer in the team. Just you wait. :D

--------------------------------

It takes imagination and work, and of course, the zeal to chase an ever-changing vision of the future. The individual is the lifeblood of the team. The team is the lifeblood of the story. The story stops only when we stop.

MO3.0's Act One story was almost done by the time I had entered the team in 2012, a product of many minds and a master mind. My entry did make some additions in the MO3.0 Act One story in the form of some co-op missions. But looking at the whole, we have many people to thank for to make this happen.

Now, you don't need to have a big team to make great stuff. You may take a look around the internet. Places like https://www.fanficti...ommand-Conquer/ (for the love of all C&C) and http://tieba.baidu.c... (for the Chinese folks) store quite a wealth of writings and discussions that delve into those worlds beyond what the official games have provided. There are several other mods out there, sometimes done by a single person. These authors have their own ideas as well.

And yes, there is a steady influx of Libra drawings flowing around the internet. :p

We are all fans of the game too. And we are not the only ones driving the legacy. We will Control MOre. ;)

That said, something from way back in time had this message... http://web.archive.o...page=forth_side. Hmm, the vision goes on and on.

Actually a question. Because of briefing suggesting that, shouldnt Killing Fields take place at same time as The Lunatic?
