I'm not sure if this has ever been sufficiently fixed but I keep getting parsing errors when I launch the mod. Then the AI just sits there and does nothing. Fighters will respond somewhat to attack but they won't come after me. This is for both ground and space battles. Btw I'm using steam. I was wondering if there was any way to crack it or something? Some way to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

I've had the same issue, but with the gold edition, not steam, and I have to say it was really disappointing. From what I DID see, this mod looks amazing! but there's just no point without even a semi functional AI

Well first of all AI is working in 1.2. There may be literally thousands of reasons why folks experience problems like you both. I know this first hand. Some time back PR1.2 was just simply unplayable for me. Parsing blah, blah usually comes from memory conflict.

I don't know about cracks for a $team version. Running my CD version just fine with no-dvd crack available freely on the net. It improved stability significantly for me on old machine. After I switched system I've never ever encountered Parsing error again (running now x99 as main setup).

We've made considerable improvements to the AI - it can be quite mean and aggressive in the current test version. And we have not even properly overhauled the AI yet.

If you make a mistake in Galactic mode, it will stomp on you, especially in the late civil war era campaigns.

I had this problem awhile ago. Try uninstalling the game then physically deleting any remaining folders. The delete local content feature on Steam will skip over files from mods so you must manually go in and delete the EaW folder. It should be under Steam\SteamApps\common or something similar. Then make a clean install then finally install PR. (remember the Steam mod path "swfoc MODPATH=Mods\Phoenix_Rising_v1.2")

Trust me there's not a faster way.

Also check if you need the patch.
