I have read all topics and have tried multiple things to get to play an online match with my friend who is not a member yet that I sent a copy of this game to. I am on Win 8.1 I have tried the launcher I have tried the mod tool I have tried the run in comparability mode with SP3 I have tried the changelog and still am getting cannot connect to generals online. I/We are on just C&C Generals and He is on Vista and am wondering if he will have same issues. I am also wondering how I can play online. I have a deluxe edition with Generals and Generals ZH.

This is really confusing.

You're trying to play a match with a friend who is not a Revora member? But to play online using our server, you need a Revora account. So what exactly have you been trying?

Anyway, I suggest uninstalling the C&C:Online launcher and using GenTool instead.

I would invite my friend if I could access the server however everything that I mentioned above to connect did not work. I am still getting cannot connect to generals server. I am not sure what was confusing. I apologize if I have made it confusing.

Anyway, just uninstall the launcher and install GenTool. Then just launch from the normal game shortcut.
