Some people are vegetarians so even if I were to bring a main dish it would be vegetarian friendly (ie garden salad or veggie pizza). This campfire is getting held at a guy's backyard and there's an estimate of 25-50 people coming this Monday. The guy's house is in the countryside (forest and grassland) with only a few nearby houses.

In Topic: What is a Recovery Fee?

24 August 2011 - 05:47 AM

Here is the response I got from one of their customer service representatives:

"Thank you for your patience. The owner of the Westminster location charges a recovery fee for the use of debit/credit card.

This is the only store within our system that is applying this charge.

If you have any further questions or comments, please email us or call us at 1-800-Vocelli.

Sincerely,

All right, so I got an answer as to what a Recovery Fee is. However, I only paid with dollar bills, not with a debit/credit card. I'm looking at the receipt right now, it doesn't say anything about a debit/credit card or paying with dollar bills, yet it does say "Payment type:" at the bottom with blank space next to it. I guess there was a malfunction while they were processing the financial data on the register. No matter, this tiny fee was only 12 cents. Also of an amusing small note is at the bottom of the receipt it says:

ORDER SUMMARY
1 Pizze
1 Desserts
2 Total Items

The receipt has the Dessert Entry in the plural sense, when I only got one dessert. Hmm, it seems their register is prone to making bloopers (I.E. malfunctioning) on occasion.

For those of you who don't know, Westminster is a city in the state of Maryland; this state is in the United States of America (also known as the USA).

Ash commented "They only charge 12 cents for delivery? Jesus that's cheap. And by the sound of things he didn't get it delivered anyway.". That's right, I chose Carry-Out, so I drove to the pizzeria, paid for the food & picked it up there, and drove back to my house.
