Game Crash Nickname

Im fresh off installing KW on my new Laptop and running it on Windows 10 . Everything was working fine , until recently everytime I try to log into KW with my main smurf “Doc98” the game crashes , and after relogging in and try it again the game just freezes. This doesn’t happen under my other smurf nicknames . Is there a particular reason this is happening and is there a solution ?

Windows 10 Direct x

I recently bought new Laptop with Windows 10 installed .. and when I Install Steam versoin of CNC 3 TW and KW  and try to launch with cnc online application I get a message telling me I need Direct x 9.0 or a later versoin .. I checked what Direct x my new laptop had and it has Direct X 12 installed and updated .  Is there a solution for me to get my game running on Windows 10 ?
