This is a request based off my experience in General's Challenge with the Nuke General, can you please either:

 

1: Give the Nuke General a basic defense (like the gattling gun tower or the bunker)

 

2: Give the AI a longer wait period before they start attacking...this is a major problem in the Laser General map for the Nuke General, as the laser general attacks en-mass on multiple fronts with combined arms units that are nearly unstoppable.

2. Sounds better.

 

The only thing i have to say is i don't know why this happens.. Many times the AI don't upgrading all the stuff they have or build like they should. like Robots don't build is super Tank.. i hope you understand what i'm trying to say, i installed the game many times new, i am not a newbie, and put the stuff in the right folder and places. can you solve this? can you maybe add too some new animation to the Nuke Cannon Explosions etc?

 

But all in all the mod is The best one.. i playing it since 004 Thank you for keeping it alive, since Remix is dead i think...

I'll try to fix all these problems for the next release.

 

Looking forward to the next release.

Thanks for the responses, kinda bummed out that I can't play against em like I could in 007...But oh well...Not like I don't have alot of other opponents in the mod.

yeah but the air general's tanks are garbage, I make progress slowly using the long range missile attacks until he spams a metric asston of trucks that just oblitterate my advanced and then its back to square 1 again. It kinda feels like I have to just endure until I get a super weapon then destroy him, I find hte dust cloud fun when as thrax but evne then its still a bit much, I feel the armor from the strat center should grant a slight resistance to it or something. Also neat that they are updaing this mod again so hopefully balancing is adressed and mainly bugs fixed. I cant complete stealth general on normal because it just crashes constantly at the af general.

Well if USA still had their toxin suit, I'd suggest infantry swarm of doom...but they don't sadly...Maybe defense and super/ability spam is the best option...If combined with Aurora Alphas and other Anti Defense speciallists...Though the super stealth bomber from the giant aircraft facility might be just what you need to win...As long as they can go stealth again after dropping their payload that is.


In Topic: Challenge Mode Toxin General

Greetings, just downloaded 008 Final and I am loving it, but i am having an issue, specifcally when facing the toxin general. It seems that during the cutscene he uses an ambush and kills your base and all units before the game even starts, preventing the challenge from even being done

 

That has never happened to me...Ever...In all the times I have faced the Toxin General recently he has never attacked in the cutscene.

 

dont expect any patches anytime soon, its just 1 dude working on this if at all. If anyone does get around to making more patches please just remove thrax's op bullshit AA acid cloud on his sam trucks.

 

May I suggest NOT using aircraft to attack those? Tank swarms have a nasty habit of making the Toxin General's day horrendous in my experience.
