Outhouse

Hello,

My brother and I wanted to play red alert 3 against each other but we couldn't start the game unfortunatly.

We could login no problem and we could get into the lobby either of us hosted. The issue here is that we can't start the game since we get this error message: "failed to connect 1-2".

I've tried both the sollution with the port forwarding on both our ends and the sollution where you unbind a port in RA3 but to no avail.

I could only find (very) old forum posts from the year 2014 that people had this problem but nobody seemed to really solve it.

Some info:
We both have the steam version. It runs perfectly fine on singleplayer. (haven't tried lan since we live quite a while apart)
1 pc uses win10 the other win7.
Excluded RA3 from the firewall on both pcs.

I would like some advice on how to solve the problem.
