Interesting for sure. I’ll try to play around and see if I can find some thing. I did manage to make good sized hordes. For eg I made up to 100 standard infantry in a horde but the game engine couldn’t sustain that so found a sweetish spot around 45 for standard infantry. Haven’t found out what I want next though which is what this post is about. So far haven’t found anything on the web either where one can increase the number of giants, battle trolls, mumakils etc.

Hello

I didn't try it in bfme2/rotwk, but it worked in bfme1.
Make a Horde with 'InitialPayload =' ( Battle trolls/ mumakils or Giants ) and a different 'RankInfo =' .
Units come out of the building (Battle trolls/ mumakils or Giants), but they can't form the horde itself so they stop, but they can be controlled.

Will this work for the AI in Skirmish though?

Edit: Also I don’t want it to be a horde because I’d like them to roam freely and not together in sync.

I have never encountered this error, I can still give some tips, but I can't promise they will help:

 

When playing a mod, it's always recommended to lower the game's graphics. The fact that your PC is strong, does not mean that the game engine itself is strong, so I would start by lowering graphics.

 

Another fix may be to either run as adminastrator, or use some compatability setting that you will need to find. Those things sometimes also fix problems.

 

You should also try playing without any other program running in the background, that may also affect the engine.

 

OK, i also tried playing on very low settings, and it still crashed at the same time :(.

Hey Bilbo,

Thanks for the input.

 

1) I have run as administrator and i do believe all compatibility settings are up to date; How would i check if they are not, could you advise please?

 

2) And i also did run the game after restarting my PC and without anything running in the background.

 

3) I am now trying to see if the crash occurs at lower settings as you suggested and will revert.

 

4) In the meantime ive also added what the DMP file says to my OP, wonder if it does make sense to someone.

Yes, i believe the one on MODDB may be better since it is more recent and the project was grander. However, my sole purpose in seeking this mod was to find a KOTD model, which only the older one has. Pallandoya seems to be a great modder from what i can tell, so you should probably check it out.
