Hey guys,
today I gotta ask you something about "creating a straw/hay texture". My problem in general is, that I don't know how to create this kind of overlapping alpha texture in photoshop. I mean there are some strokes which go farther than the "plain texture" and I just don't know how to do this in a realistic way. I tried to "brush" it on the texture by using a "hair brush", but that ended out, having unsatisfying results. That's why I am asking you to help me out with tips, tutorial-links or any suggestions. I already know how to create an alpha layer, but I can't proceed the creative step of create the strokes.
I would totally appreciate help here.
