This is my idea that killing or keeping heroes alive is vital to victory in a battle, as losing a hero will demoralise nearby units and killing an enemy hero rallies nearby units, with the opposite effects happening on your enemy.
A Super Hero is a hero whom your army holds in awe because of their immense strength and power, and their deaths would seriously shake your men. A Leader Hero is one of the charismatic leaders of your faction, and their deaths would cause your men to rally with anger and go berserk on nearby enemies. There is always a small chance of the opposite effect, though. Here is the details:

Normal Heroes- (all heroes not mentioned below)
Impact of death on surrounding units of own faction- 80% chances of debuff (weakened armor, speed and damage for about 10-15 seconds).
Impact of death on surrounding units of killer's faction- 100% chances of small rally (small boost to armor, speed, damage for about 10-15 seconds)

Super Heroes (Gandalf, Aragorn, Saruman, Sauron, Drogoth, Witch-King, Galadriel, Roméstamo, Morihentar, Radagast, Beorn, Glorfindel, Círdan)
Impact of death on surrounding units of own faction- 75% chances of massive debuff (greatly weakened armor, speed and damage for about 10-15 seconds) and flee/cower in fear, 25% chances of avenging rage (great boost to armor, speed, damage and go uncontrollably berserk on surrounding enemies for about 10-15 seconds)
Impact of death on surrounding units of killer's faction- 100% chances of massive rally (great boost to armor, speed, damage for about 10-15 seconds)

Leader Heroes- (Boromir, Faramir, Theoden, Eomer, Imrahil, Goblin King, Lurtz, Gothmog, Treebeard, Haldir, Elrond, Mahud Chief, Easterling Captain, Arveleg, Argeleb, Arvedui)
Impact of death on surrounding units of own faction- 75% chances of avenging rage (great boost to armor, speed, damage and go uncontrollably berserk on surrounding enemies for about 10-15 seconds), 25% chances of debuff (weakened armor, speed and damage for about 10-15 seconds).
Impact of death on surrounding units of killer's faction- 100% chances of good rally (good boost to armor, speed, damage for about 10-15 seconds)

What do you think? Neat addition to the mod's realism?

Basically, when I play the Non-Linear campaign, every time I click for a unit to move the screen goes red until the unit has reached his destination and the little cursor that shows where your unit is moving to has disappeared. I'm running on Ultra High graphics with a neat computer. What's the problem?

Tales of Middle-Earth is the name of the mod I am starting for The Battle For Middle Earth. I am planning to improve the existing four races by adding new heroes, new units, new powers and new sub-factions. I also plan to heavily improve existing hero units, and individualise the four factions. The mod is only in the very initial stages at the moment, because I am still learning the basics of coding. As I get better, I'll add many new things.
Your thoughts and ideas for this would be very much appreciated. Also, I will begin to recruit a team in a short while. I will need a skinner, a modeller and maybe an extra coder to help me.

One - You have no techtree topic, or website, so there is nothing at all to give information about this mod.
Two - Where is the download link?

Hello.

I'm really tired of downloading great looking mods, and then realising that either
a) I have no clue how to install them, because they don't come with instructions or an installer
b) There is a readme file with instructions, but it happens to be in German (glares at Elrond99).

Could anybody explain what do do with the .zip file once I've downloaded it? I have WinRar, if that helps.
I know I sound stupid, but hey, I'm only 15 and I'm new to this whole thing anyway. So please, help. I love you all.
