There will be a lot of changes to the AI in update 3.3.3 actually, including new naval attack patterns.

First of all, new content did not delay 3.3.2 but the wait for things which were originally supposed to appear in that update. The same goes for 3.3.3, Whipray was added in the meantime as we are still working on a mission that was always planned to be a part of this update (even the previous one, actually). Also, a dedicated AA ship for Foehn was always my intention, Swordfish's Shrike was a quick makeshift solution to Foehn having no AA naval weapons at the time.

 

Whipray's confusion ray is just like that of Deviatress.

I consider most of these pointless or designed against the general idea how the game is supposed to play or be balanced. For example, in MO Support Powers are integral to the balancing of the subfactions, they shouldn't be all removed with a click. Similar thing applies to making all infantry immune to crushing.

a, it's mostly done to prevent certain issues from happening, especially when the player alt-tabs during loading screen.

What do you mean? They're files, you can do all the things that you normally can do with files.

 

MO3.3.3 save files will be stored in and read from a subfolder /Saved Games, which wasn't actually used before.

It will stay the same, as in, you'll still be able to choose any mission from the get-go. 'Load Game' button will be in the main menu.
