Hey everyone,

I'm trying to create a new hero for Arnor using Aragorn's model. So I edited Aragorn's skin, saved it with my new hero's name, and used Aragorn's model but with the random texture code to change the skin to the one I created.. Then I created the asset.DAT file and put it into the mod file with my hero's skin {which is in my game directory under "Compatibility Files" since I use Vista}, and when I recruit my hero, he enters the battlefield but he's pink. I'm guessing it has to do with the asset.dat file but I can't figure out what to do.

I searched all the articles I could find about skinning but I couldn't seem to find one that covered the topic of putting a skin on an existing model that's being re-used for a new hero.

Anyone else have this trouble or have any ideas as to what may be causing it?
