#1021325 Campaign #1 - CORE WORLDS

Posted by Zeta1127 on 20 December 2015 - 09:53 AM

I have suggested before that the Dark Troopers and TIE Phantom should be made available by fulfilling sets of requirements that would unlock the Arc Hammer and the Terror, respectively, which would allow for the production of the units when the specific ship is in orbit. My idea is that the capture of Fest, Gromas 16, and Anteevy would unlock the Arc Hammer, and the destruction of Aeten II (by the Death Star or another suitable superweapon) and the capture of the Belt of Arah and Imdaar, would unlock the Terror.

#1005565 Cannot Play as China factions

I have only ever had problems with the new generals, the GLA factions, and the China Nuke General, but only when they are AI. On a manual install, since the launcher flatly refuses to work, because it isn't a valid Win32 application.

#895401 poll. New ships for the Alliance to Restore the Republic/ New Republic

The reason why I reacted the way I did is because, to me, TCW equals the ridiculous and stupid CGI animated cartoon set in its own AU. The only Clone Wars stories I recognized are the Clone Wars multimedia project and its derivatives, and things like at least some of the TCW ships and vehicles.

#884034 The Essential Guide to Warfare

last book i read chronologically was Unifying Force. kinda figured that anything after that would have to have some form of insane or stupid plot which might result in the deaths of much beloved characters, or other weird happenings. everything afterwards, i just get the sum. from wookiepedia. Im almost expecting some kind of Star Trek-esque time travel story, where Jar-Jar goes back in time to screw up everything (AGAIN), and its up to Luke, Ben, and the Force Ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn to stop him.

I dont know if i want to read Mercy Kill at this point, even though its part of the excellent X-wing Series.

I am in the same position with regards to Mercy Kill, johnchm.10. The Thrawn Trilogy, the Hand of Thrawn Duology, the X-wing series, and the Black Fleet Crisis were far superior to anything Del-Rey has come up with so far, though some of the NJO books were great. The way Del-Rey has been doing things is really the difference for me in why I like the Bantam novels better, nonsense like The New Rebellion notwithstanding. The lack of an appearance by the New Class ships in the NJO, as I have mentioned, is one of the issues not related to plot that I was really hoping EGtW would tackle, besides EU minimalism in general, but I don't know if that has happened yet.

I would just love a decent explanation for the curious happens that occurred in the code for EaW during development, because somebody did something very weird.

Who ever said that had better have been fired a long time ago, and taught a lesson by Palpatine, the same way he did to Bevel Lemelisk. Anybody who read Darksaber back in the day should know what I am referring to.
