Thank You very much! How is v5 (or whatever it will be called) coming?


Er...maybe you missed it but there won't be a version 5. I'll release patches and such and maybe the occasional "add-on" but not another full release. The one exception might be like a v4.5 that includes all current patches etc, so that people only have to download one file.

I seem to get very bored playing this on camp and skirmish... playing same sides over and over again... would it be possible to make like a patch for the correct planets under the control of the correct factions and have the ai assault the planets to the story line(i.e rebellion assaulting byss until taken then assault coruscant). then if possible make objectives like in eaw. unless you would like to make a server for rotm online play, wich giving the ability for humans to fight humans you can expect the unexpected that is not expected. who thinks thisi s a good or bad idea?


Your GC idea is not possible so far as I know. The AI can not be told to capture certain planets. The online play is a no as well. I've been told by several other modders that EaW's online capabilities will not function with any mods installed. Sorry.

PS. I updated the game but it still crashes when i call for the mando bombing run, any ideas?


Move any Kandosii battleships put of orbit before going into ground battle. That's the workaround the community has come up with for now.

Well, deploy wasn't really meant for infantry to begin with but there was no other way to pull it off. So, no...it's stuck the way it is. Just remember to not use both abilities at the same time. I've noticed too that this issue will also occur when Katarn is attacking a structure with the force earthquake thing...can't deploy while doing that. Basically, anytime Katarn is using one of his other abilities, you can't use deploy.

Not sure if anyone noticed (seems to be a lot of IR/Mandos here) but Kyle (or whichever uses the gun) sometimes gets frozen when he's "deployed". I don't whether it's caused by ordering him to move while deployed or by switching targets while he's deployed.

Perhaps if you had it as a Switch Weapons ability?


Has to be deploy or the animation won't work. It happens when he's in the middle of the saber throw ability and you trigger the deploy.
