Animations

OK. Now I got an idea of a nice model, but to make it move correctly I need to edit some animations.
Yes, I know it’s a bit early for me but I think I can handle it. :p

When I open up an animation-file in RenX and play the animation, the model just stands still. All frames looks exactly like the first one. I don’t want to make all animations from scratch! I just want to edit some things.

What am I doing wrong? Please help me!

I’m slowly building up a picture of how all things work when you’re modding in BFME II. I learn something each day, thanks to the extremely great tutorials here on The3rdage. :p
Now I have come to the modelling part:

I’m going to make my first own model, but I don’t got enough inspiration for it.

I know there are many good mappers and modders here, where do you get your inspiration from?

WOW! I can’t believe that there are actually this many people still making BFME mods and maps!
I´m so glad I found you! ;)

However, are there any tutorials that you recommend for me?

I know how to make maps, and I’m quite good at scripting. I certainly want to know more about the map.INI files. I don’t know how to make a mod either, so if anyone can explain the basics I would be grateful.

I’ve read Rob38s tutorial here. Nice tutorial, but I don’t really get it. Where do you find those moduletags in the map.INI file? Can someone give some more examples?

After hours of searching I finally found the easiest way to make players start without fortress and builders. This tutorial has taken me a great step forward to become a good mapper. How can I ever thank you m@tt?
