Ah, so it's essentially acts as Epsilon's "economy" gimmick in their tech tree.

Soviets have the Maintenance from Industrial plant. Allies have warp miners. Foehn has spinblades.

personally i think that the war rig is an ill fit for epsilon considering they already have mind control and grinder for extra credit (which is also getting buffed by having a mobile grinder)

i reckon that it would be a much better fit for the allies since they are much better at setting up mobile defenses and it would work very well with their other ore based late game abilities, which are quite lacking at the moment

personally the first idea seem like the best one as the second one seems like it would lower its usefulness even more and all the others immediately made me think of other units and abilities (megalodon megaarenas, alanqa tornadoes and the chinese irradiation). that said rather then combine the two i would make it so that you could place the trenches into the walls that way you could use them as impromptu gates as well and wont have gaps in your defence

a minor bug shown in the screenshot above

the map 'yelcraz island' has an inaccessible ore vein in the top right of the map

also i noticed on the map 'mentalopolis' that the chinese flag pole uses the old style china flag without the yellow stripes

not sure if its intentional or not

 

on an unrelated note does anyone know how to upload pictures to the site cause anytime i try i get told that i am "not allowed to use the image extension on this community"

here's a suggestion for the infantry only gamemode

EITHER a teir 3 support power for all sides that spawns a stallion transport. this would give all sides more options in moving their infantry around the map and more reasons to build AA then just rocketeers and gyros

and it would also allow you to capture tech buildings on islands that are otherwise currently completely useless

its that or a support power that airdrops one or two engis for the same reason

 

i personally would prefer the first option for its versatility, particularly on water heavy maps, but i can understand that some may feel like it doesn't fit in with the mode

either way i feel something has to be done cause as it is there are too many maps that have worthless features and tech buildings
