I'm having an issue playing Contra 007. I manually installed the mod, but whenever I try playing, it gives me a "Technical Difficulties" error message. I know that I need to have the game patched up to at least 1.04, but thats where my problem lies. I have downloaded it 3 different times from 3 separate, legitimate sites, and all three patches start up but give me an instant Microsoft error. I get the pop-up that tells me to make sure the game isn't running, I click "OK" and it pulls up a "Patch Extraction" window with the progress bars, but instantly, an error window with "RTPatch Executable has encountered a problem and needs to close..." and gives me the option to send an error report.

Is there anything I can do?
