I'm having an issue installing T3Aonline_2.1.3.msi

The error seems to be something with the icon?:

Right now that windows\installer\{bunchOfLettersandNumbers} folder still exists and has the T3A icon.ico file in it. I can't remove it because it says it is "open in system". The internet hasn't found me a solution to delete it anyways yet ):  My guess was deleting it would allow the installer to work.

By the way, the script you provided (OP) to generate the log file tries to run T3AonlineBFME*.msi, but the curent version of the installer doesn't have "BFME" in the name anymore. I just added "BFME" into my file's title and it worked, but I figured I'd let you know.

Thank you for providing the script. Hopefully someone can help me!

EDIT:

I fixed it with a pro gamer move.
I have T3A installed properly on another computer, so on that machine I copied the "Revora" folder from my ProgramFiles(x86) onto a USB, then plugged the USB into my new computer and pasted that folder in the program files.

If you're using T3A, keep in mind that there are actually two separate accounts.

You have one account to log into the T3A website, and THEN you make an online-account for the game from there.

So make sure you have that second game-account created within the T3A website, and try logging in with that.

Also make sure you launched BFME from the T3A program. (instead of just launching the game by clicking its icon).

In Topic: Installing BFME2 - I'm admittedly stupid, seeking help

Hey, there's two times I've resolved this in the past:

1) While the loading screen is coming on, constantly click on the screen as fast as you can!!!! Idk why this does anything lmao, but it definitely worked every time for one computer's set up.

2) Do you know if you have more than one graphics card? Sometimes your hard ware comes with a built in/integrated graphics card, AND you can have a separate, more powerful graphics card.
In the event that you do have two cards, you probably need to manually set the game to use the more powerful card.

Uhmm.. I forget the exact steps for that off the top of my head. Something like either:

A) just right click the game icon and select "run with nvidia" or something (like if you had an nvidia brand graphics card).
B) again with nvidia, open the "Nvidia Control Panel", in the left menu click "manage 3d settings", then in the settings that open up select the "program settings" tab, and like... add BFME or something?

Lol, sorry it's not super clear instructions, but first we need to find out if the graphics card thing is even a potential issue. So, uhh, maybe just search online how to do that and get back to me.

Sometimes you have to run the game as administrator.

Your online login info is the server name and password from the account page on this website: https://t3aonline.net/account/

Hey Zosky99k, I like that solution a lot more, so I actually created a step by step guide on how to do it that way too! AND you don't need to mount any disc images!
