Here's another good shot.

Notice the large lake that sits above the city. Not necessary, but it would be some cool scenery.

I could see how Sauron would have a hard time taking that city. The only entrance is a lone toothpick of a bridge

Any pics of the Rivendell map? I'm interested in if it is more like it is in the movie. The original EA version is just garbage.

NJM, did you do some of the maps for the RJ mod? I remember seeing something that looks like your username at the end of the map descriptions.

Anyways, this map looks like it will be a freaking blast to play.

In Topic: SEE - The One Ring system

I don't know if this has been previously brought up, but here are some of my ideas.

I feel like all evil factions should get Melkor as their ring hero. All good factions should get Turin Turambar. This would make sense because it is described that Turn will one day come back during Dagor Dagoroth ("the battle to end all battles") and go head-to-head with Melkor. I know this has nothing to do with the Rings necessarily  but I think it would be a cool idea...

Another idea would be to give the evil factions Melkor (or some could get Ungoliant), and each good faction would get a specific Vala. Dwarves would get Aule the Smith, Men would get Tulkas the Strong, Elves would get Ulmo or Manwe etc.

My last idea is that all evil factions get Sauron as normal and all good factions get a super upgraded Aragorn, wielding Narsil. The normal Aragorn would have his ranger sword. If you are the Men faction and already have the standard Aragorn, then he would turn into the Ring hero version once you get it. This would avoid having two Aragorns lol.

Just some of my thoughts...

Wow that looks...amazing!! I bet in the next hobbit movies you will see more of Dol Guldur, thus allowing you more of something to work off of.
