I'm really happy with this patch, it looks really cool and I'm glad there is now a HD rework so I can enjoy the game in HD

Also the new maps are simply amazing, I was stunned at first view :o really love the entire patch!

Keep it up, lets go for 1.07?

Excl, do you have a problem tabbing out of BFME1 on windows 8? Because I do and it's really annoying.

What do you mean by tabbing out? like getting out of BFME and do other stuff on your pc while it is still running?

Because if that is the issue then I have the same problem.

And if you talk about quitting from the game, no problems at all on that area.

And I still can't get BFME installed.  I downloaded it from the site I was told to, I have all the files, and when I try and install it, it asks for a disk code, and crap.  Help.  H-h-help.  Elp.  I want to beat people up with wargs too.

What do you mean by "disk code"? Do you mean the serial key? You can get one free online.

Oie, it sounds like a latency issue.
Timing out is often when your able to connect but due to poor connection it disconnects or 'times out'

there was some server lag on revora at the time you were having trouble.

 

@dakaoge: is it working now? Has it ever worked before for you?

 

Side question, does BFME even work with windows 8?

Yes it does, I'm running windows 8 and i played yesterday with 4 other people.

There need to be 3 'doors' openend in order for this old game to work properly. 

1. Anti-virus
2. (windows)Firewall
3. Router

I opened the port and added the options and now when i run the portchecker it says that port 16000 is open

I hope all my issues are fixed now and that I can play online this evening with all the other people :]
