Can you read syringe.logs? I doubt so. Upload one. Try admin mode regardless.

Your antivirus program prevents Syringe to inject Ares into YR.
Just as an update, I deleted my AV software and the same exact error comes up. I am clueless as what to do. I hate to be such bother, but do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for the response.
But when I disable AVG, it still comes up with the same error... is there a special way I have to "exclude" Syringe from its protection? Or do I have to remove the antivirus software in place of a more suitable one?

Hello. I've been trying to get this mod to work for about a week now, and I just can't seem to get it to even start.
Everytime I start up the launcher and press "Launch Mental Omega," it will immediately pop up with an error that says "Main executable for Mental Omega has stopped working."
I have installed .NET 3.5 and 4.0 and just about every other version that has been suggested. I have removed the wsock32.dll (it may be worthy to note it only appeared the first time I installed MO.)
I am using Windows 7. I know that a similar error appears in RA2/YR when the compatibility mode isn't set to WindowsME/98. I don't know if MO's problems are related to that. RA2/YR work fine on my computer. I have version 1.001 . This error also occurs on another mod that I have that uses the ares.dll if that has anything to do with it. I do not have these two mods installed at the same time. I have installed both on different "clean" version of RA2.
I have tried installing Mental Omega on my original RA2/YR set, the TFD version, and the free online version that was in your install guide. All gave the same exact error. It still makes a syringue log, so I have attatched that. Thank you for any help in the future. This mod looks great!
