As the posters above I'm running into the same issue on BFME2. I've followed all the steps posted here and opened the ports (tested and it says they are open) made exceptions into the firewall, I still do not get a green ping and cannot connect to other users.
- opened ports
- disabled firewall
- correct patch installed
- options.ini added with no mention of the 16000 port override (tried with it included also.)
