[BFME1] On same patch, but game says different versions

I was trying to join a game with another player (UmiHus) on the server, but it wouldn't let us join each other's games because our game's were "different versions" even though we both are on the T3A patch 1.06. I personally don't even have any mods installed, not sure if he has any or not.
