Wow... so I guess I have my answer,.....

from the request to use my name page.... from ToxicShock...

I found what I see as an impersonating account amongst those, namely [m8s]AA{0} which I see as tending to impersonate the account [m8s]AA.   I have rescinded the approval on that account and reassigned it.

Here's where it gets amusing... One day after AA and I were going back and forth being absolute jerks to each other I made that name just to irritate him.  It was done while he was online and frankly was childish.  I wont apologize for it because plenty of people do that...

Point in fact... I just got told that I cant use my name which to my understanding means I cant participate in this new server and will no longer be able to play RA3 online at all...  Do me a favor... look up the person i 'impersonated'.  He has player spoofs on his account.  Specifically RedSx5{0}. RedSx5 is an actual player and AA spoofed him to be RedSx5{0} THIS is the exact reason I spoofed in the first place because he dc'd in a game and then went off talking about how he never dc'd... He has been for years saying 'Report Valid' about other players and then has done the things he calls others cheats for....

Im sorry if these sounds like I am attacking you AA, im good with a handshake, but what I just read tells me I am effectively banned from these servers because of doing something for a few hours in the course of over 6 years of gameplay that is insanely insignificant.  If that is the case than I would expect the same action to be taken to ALL players regardless of friendship or admin abilities.

Guess I'll go enjoy my last 2 days of Red Alert.

thats fair honestly... I just have been playing this since it was released and while i think its great the game can continue, I just have concerns about the environment we are entering into as a community.

You and I have been di ck enough to each other over the years and Im honestly saying Im not trying to continue that feud but merely to try and figure out what the things I need to be concerned with are.

And yes, I did take that as a veiled threat especially given some of the ingame chat between you and i over the years, but if we are moving on from that is fine with me.

The people that we both game with are friends, and I wanted to make sure that some other person doesnt have dominion over thats all.... Cheating is a pretty obvious thing to get banned for and I wouldnt have a problem with that.. be nice to finally play without the game crashers around... anyway dont want to beat a dead horse

well thats the thing, he calls everyone a cheat. even for a stupid disconnect, and he's done it himself... i just am not seeing much info here about how the servers will be monitored and how bans or whatever will be handled.  Does someone using a dolphin to hit a land base warrant the disabling of their game?  thats just an example and not something i specifically am doing... 

How will the game be policed, by whom, and are their measures in place to prevent abuse i guess is what Im asking.
