[RA3 Steam 1.12] Router Portforwarding

14 October 2017 - 10:40 PM

I've opened every port on my friends TP-Link wireless router. Here are the captures

I've followed CnC.Cap instructions in his post. Am I missing other ports to open or maybe what I did for the firewall is not the way to go? Any thoughts?

I've added 2 firewall rules for CnCOnline.exe regarding UDP and TCP ports, specifically:

TCP: 3783, 4321, 28900, 29900, 29901, 16000
UDP: 6500, 6515, 13139, 27900, 16000

How can I tag CnC.Cap; PLATINUM_XII and ToxicShock?

Thanks guys.

It appears your router and/or connection is not capable of NAT negotiation.
==> You will need to use port forwarding and possibly configure a static port.

Hello, I was having problems with Co-Op and Multiplayer, even after the doing what was in the "connective issues" and they didn't resolve anything.

So me and PLATINUM_XII where trying something, that he saw online on the forums, and i went to search and he sent me a print.

This Ports are for your Router and Firewall so you dont need to DMZ =)

TCP 3783 (Voice Chat Port)
TCP 4321 (Mangler Servers)
TCP 28900 (Master Server List Request)
TCP 29900 (GP Connection Manager)
TCP 29901 (GP Search Manager)
TCP 16000 (Revora/CnC Online)
//
UDP 6500 (Query Port)
UDP 6515 (Dplay UDP)
UDP 13139 (Custom UDP Pings)
UDP 27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
UDP 16000 (Revora/CnC Online)

And for no issues with the port, dont use the "port overwrite", go to %appdata% > Red Alert 3 > Profiles > //Your Profile > Options.ini and delete the FirewallPortOverride = , and make the file Read only, this should work, screenshots below are how my router and firewall looks like =)

Any doubts please ask.

[RA3] Application errror when launching RA3 through Steam and C&C online open

13 October 2017 - 03:44 PM

Game version: Steam (updated 1.12)

Error type: Application load error 5:0000065434 when attempting to run RA3 from Steam with C&C online hooked

Steps:

1. Open Steam

2. Open C&C Online >> Hook >> Red Alert 3 >> Confirm selection

3. Run RA3 from Steam

Notes:

I have created a RA3 Steam Desktop Shortcut

If RA3 is not hooked to C&C online the game starts

If RA3 is hooked and run from desktop shortcut i get the application load error

If RA3 is executed via Steam, nothing happends, Steam says game is "running"

Possible fix??:

Don't hook RA3 to C&C Online

Execute RA3 through Steam (it should run)

close RA3

Hook the game

Execute through Steam
