I made this thread for any people who are interested in sharing their custom maps.

 

here is my first map that i made in a little over an hour.

 

EDIT:too bad the uploader is not helping me in the slightest.

May I ask you guys how you made these maps? And what tools did you use? I want to make some maps for MO but don't have any experiences. 

Btw, that Concentration Challenge by Terminal Velocity is so nicely done! I guess it's totally qualified to be included in the official patch. 

To edit maps on Mental Omega use this

i am downloading the as i type.

When saving a map, within the map editor, I get this notification: "This map will need Mental Omega 3.3.X to be played. Save the map in Maps/Custom and change its extension to *.map"

- How does one get Mental Omega 3.3.X? - Is it available to the public, such as myself? 

- Changing the extension just means replacing the '.yrm' part with a '.map' - Right?

 

Edit: Will I have to upload my maps somewhere, in order to play it with a friend? or, will it be like it was previously, where it just transfers to the other guy without me needed to manually upload it somewhere?

No. all it means is that you have to change the map name so, i made a map called "abandoned base wars (Allied vs Soviet)" when i saved it it saved as ABW.yrm. you have to change the underlined to .map
