that´s a good idea. a slightly scaled cello might do the trick

i thought it would look better when they are the same size, but you are right. it´s confusing.

maybe the violin is a bad choice, since it´s the smallest of common orchestral string instruments.

i played around with a cello, but the warlock looks like a kid´s toy when standing next to a cello.

i´ll look for a fitting viola image

i dont quite understand the "cast shadows forward" part.

the light is coming from the right-front.

so i guess if i drop shadows they should be on the left, behind of the instruments.

thank you for your reply

Hello everyone, I'm "DAMIEN-ROCK" and I'm ready to rock and roll with you and play some Command & Conquer. I been a fan of the series since the release of RED ALERT 2 when I got my 1st PC. I've tried the console versions of C&C and it's so hard to work the controllers. I choose mouse and keyboard any day :smilehuh: I'm a gentleman over 30 years of age who enjoys PC games. I bounce from any C&C game to DIABLO, back to C&C. That's all I play pretty much. My other free time I write and record Rock Music. I enjoy meeting and playing games with cool people  :thumbsupcool: By the way, I just installed my games again after a few years of not playing due to my clan stopped playing and I haven't played since, so I just need some practice to get up to speed.

hi i am

curious about that rock music you were talking about.

do you have any records online?

So you want your liquid to have some layered transparency?  Also easy.  Use your fuzzy select tool (or the Photoshop equivalent, or whatever you use) and select sections of the liquid.  Then with an alpha channel on, use your eraser tool with very low opacity and erase the sections detected by your fuzzy select tool.  The lighter the liquid, the more that needs to be transparent.  And you can do the same to the bottle... make the parts without the liquid very transparent in the center, and less so around the edges of the bottle.  This same rule should apply to the liquid as well, but not as heavy transparency.  And objects inside of it should have no transparency.

"fuzzy select tool" seems to be like magic wand in photoshop with a blurry border.

adding more transparency step-by-step, every time with a slightly larger selection seems like a good idea, i´ll try that.

thank your for your suggestion
