I had Renny, which spooked me for a moment as my real last name is almost exactly the same!

I know, I used the preconverted packages and tried various things though it makes no difference. Not sure if it's a problem with the way I am referencing the folder or what.

First I created a new folder, then I copied the short cut on my desktop into said folder.
Now I copy the ini.big into the folder. Going onto properties of the short cut I put this inot "Target": ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth II\lotrbfme2.exe" -mod "C:\Program Files(x86)\BFME mod\"
I then edit the gamedata.ini in the .big folder using a program and changed the murder of crows price to 1 and time to 1 just so I can quickly check when I begin as isengrad if price has changed which it never does no matter what I have tried so far.
I've also tried using the extracted folders Zero_4e mentioned and edited the gamedata.ini using notepad but still doesn't make a difference.
Is there any obvious mistakes made here? Thanks

Just given the -mod command a go and still makes no difference. Must be my computer or something, it's been acting weird lately haha. Mayhaps it's time for a clean install!!XD Thanks for link though

I don't think that is the problem, I checked and there is only one ini file in the folder the one I changed. It is in the big format too, the software I used allows you to change it and save it still in the .big format.
So if I have understood what you haev said correctly I think it is something else.
