The Problem with Capitalism and Government

05 March 2006 - 07:11 PM

You probably are thinking what is the problem? It works!

You are partially right. Capitalism does work. But it is not flawless, and it costs lives and problems and fewer freedoms everyday, things are being limited all around us, even as we speak. In the society we live in today there is no feeling or compassion for the consumer. Companies lie and false advertise all the time. They gouge up prices and monopolize the market. The problem with Capitalism is the corruption, there is no moral guidelines for the companies to go by. Each and every day they lie cheat and steal to make more money.

Have you noticed that American has been in some sort of conflict every since the Korean war. Who supplies us with the weapons and tanks and war machines to fight wars? It is not the government, all the government sells out contracts to high biding companies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Honeywell and United Technologies. These companies run out nations defense systems. Not our government. We pay these companies trillions and trillions of dollars to go to war and for what? What is the purpose of the war in Iraq? Currently a civil war is in the beginning stages, what do we plan to do? Stay there in the middle, in the cross fire so more of our men and women in service die for a cause they no longer believe in?

Why are we in Iraq in the first place? Weapons of Mass Deception? The Saddam / 9-11 connection? Do we really believe everything our government tell us without thinking? Whatever happened to thinking for ourselves? I remembered when I did listen to the government before 9-11. They told me that Saddam posed no threat to our country or its neighboring countries. Then we listened to our government and media without question on 9-11. We watched the towers being struck by planes. We saw the raging infernos inside the building and poor innocent people jump from the buildings. We then watched the towers crumble at near freefall speed. Floor after floor the buildings collapsed almost like a controlled demolition. But we listened to our government when they told us that the planes fires collapsed the buildings. All the time failing to realize that no building in the history of the world collapsed from a fire, let alone a fire that only burned for 32 and 56 minutes. We failed to realize that these buildings were the old buildings in the history of the world to collapse by planes hitting them as well.

Back in the 50's a B52 bomber crashed into the Empire State building. The fire lasted for 17 hours, and guess what? It did not collapse.

I am not going into detail about the 9-11 lie. But I will tell you this is what happens when Capitalism rules. This is what happens when billions and trillions of dollars of insider trading scandals are covered up. Corporate monkeys on the top would rather 3 thousand lives destroyed rather then going to jai. This is what happens when we listen to our government.

I listened to Bush when he told me the threats of Saddam , I remembered the terror alerts being raised, I remember his speeches telling me to go to the store and buy Gas masks for my family and duck tape my doors and windows. I remember a time where the country listened to the government when they told us to hide under our desks in the event of a atomic strike back in the Cuban missile crisis days. Why do we unconditionally trust our government? Why don't we look at the facts and ask questions anymore?

How did we let our Founding Fathers down? They warned us of this, the predicted these days coming, and we did nothing. We let our rich power hungry politicians take over. We are blind, we are followers. As our freedoms are getting limited and limited they are pulling the sheep skin over our eyes. We need to wake up before it is too late. We need to realize that when you are DENIED a lawyer because you are Iranian and committed a crime it is not right.

We need to wake up and stop letting our government limit our freedoms. I am very afraid of where we will be in ten years.
