While thinkering around with nexus, I noticed that you can "land" the zephir drones. some little sail unfolds when it's on the ground, yet the attack remains the same.

I'm probally missing the basic idea of it, but what is the use or idea behind this feature?

BTW I am Dutch, so my English might not be op to par with the rest of you.

My Xfire name is Anarchy1987, and the survival map "lunatic moon editted by flyingz". Incase you never heard of survival maps or this one in particular.

Survival maps are designed to make you (drumroll) survive, wave after wave of enemy troops/tanks.
its quite fun being swarmed by almost 500 terminators (thats at start..ofcourse).

the one im refering too also has a flank of 900 kirovs..

I downloaded the mod this morning and I must say, that I'm enjoying every minute of it, especially my "Devastator Horde" but is it me or does the leageu have pitifull defence compared to the freedom and Nexus sides. (they don't really shine in anything but chrono stuff)


Nexus has in my opinion the best air defence, while freedom can easily built masses of hell cannons to prevent early rushes from the ground. and unlike the photon(?) cannon that the legion uses they got no built limit. and are lower on the tech level.

Ofcourse my opinion may be baised as I couldn't even hold of a medium nexus with the legion yet easily beated the brutal nexus. using the freedom side (ofcourse with highest amount of money on, units on ten just incase I needed to buy myself more time) Yes I camped alot the brutal round. steadily taking more ground with my regenerators, kirovs, and elite devastators.

all in all VERY succesfull mod, and I can't wait to see the completed version.
