Thank you! It's seems to work very well Took a bit of tinkering and trial and error but using the file Maps5.big rather than MapsCampaign.big seemed to do the trick! As long as Final Big is in XP compatibility mode and you use the menu to add the directory it works perfectly. I can not say thank you enough! Really appreciated! I'll get to work seeing what modding I can do... a whole world of options available now

I tried this but it didn't work for me unfortunately. I have had games work in the past without making this change but only on about 2 occasions out of many failed attempts! I'm pretty sure it's the server issue they are working on resolving at the moment as I have tried everything I could. As soon as it is resolved I will make my donation RA3 is my favourite game of all time... I'm angry at gamespy for shutting down their servers. Good on Revora though for trying to help everyone out; I think that is great.
