Generals Zero Hour connection problem at game start

23 March 2020 - 03:54 PM

Hi,

when a multiplayer online game starts, I see the "waiting for connection" information with the other players for a few seconds. Then I'm thrown back into the lobby with the error, that establishing the connection is not possible (see attached screen shot).

I've searched the forum and tried quite a few things (disabling firewall, alternative internet connection etc.) but stick with the problem.

Details:

  • Game Version: Origin, Ultimate Collection (german)
  • Operating system: MS Windows 10 Home
  • GenTool version: 7.9

I cannot find the CNCOnline_Log.txt in in my AppData\Local\Temp folder.

This is the output of connection diagnostic tool:

NAT negotiation works with your router and connection.
==> You do not have to use port forwarding.

Any help very much appreciated!
