[RA3] Connection Issue (1-2 connection error)

Game Version: The Ultimate Collection

Error: when hitting Play after players joining the match, it gives the classic "1-2 connection" error that seems to be reported heavily here
when: every time, whether playing a mod OR the base game
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

tried all solutions ive so far found on the forum EXCEPT a VPN and DMZ, the DMZ option is not a safe option for me or my friend(s) due to our routers and VPN will be like pulling teeth to get everyone else on-board with it

[RA3] issue launching specific mod (Red Cocaine)

game version: The Ultimate Collection via Origin (launching with "-ui" parameter to make it open the RA3 Control Center, using Bibber's Fixed Launchers, latest version)

Error message: CA public key patching routine failed.

when/what time: every time the mod is launched through the Control Center's Game Browser for RA3, other mods like Upheaval are working fine)

OS: Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium

ive done all the relevant steps in the Common Issues thread such as Hooking and running in Windows XP Compatibility Mode with no difference in results
