SOLVED

I have another user account on my computer and it had gedosato on,  I didnt even realize it was on or it could cross users like that. It was somehow locking me out of the rest of my screen. Thanks a lot for helping ICT I really appreciate it man. Im on 1.6 for the record    

tried everything that I know or could think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated and we can all revel in bfme @ 21:9 screenshots
 

Hm, I have no idea. Did you try to run in windowed mode?

that sounds promising but how would i force windowed mode? theres nothing in the options ini for that

Windowed mode doesn't let me press any of the buttons even if i can hover over them now.
