Pretty sure that's due to the AI being able to find only a single target that appeared (and I'm assuming a ghost miner is at fault here). Works the same way for most of the superweapons, and AI can't really care if friendlies are in the area or not.

You do realise that the tunnel idea is going to be either too cheap for its cost that it's OP, or practically unused because it's too expensive and discovered too quickly, right?

And also, 3-4 waves? I could just happily spam tunnels in my own base if it's too cheap, or just use it with chimera tech on defense and make every attacker's life really bad while I'm at it.

2 well-placed snipers can do a lot of damage?
Did you even know what happened in Lizard Brain, because that happens a lot on a very regular basis.

And yes, snipers are supposed to be deterrents, but when you have to mass so much that they become horribly obvious? So much for placement issues.

Because apparently people will just mass enough troops (don't even get me started on Foehn yet) and straight up run them over.
Do you know how the Soviet T2 infantry rush works? Because apparently snipers can stop that easily if what you said is true.
Like seriously, even dudes with heavy riot gears, shotguns and flashbangs have way higher efficiency than supposedly *specialised-and-elite* snipers.

Oh, and mind you, the range doesn't exactly make up for their horrible shots and their slow movement speed.

 

does EA lacks anti infantry damage? No
snipers aren`t great but they are a good defensive unit + looong range wich means free shots, they are supposed to be used in shockpoints, behind other stuff and so
also why you guys haven`t realise by now that rocketeers are just scouts? and, why is that bad?
My guess: we have run out of important balance issues and people start now to create balance issues due to inercy and community habits

 

I've said this many times: the community will not stop until we get another 3.3 virus because "it is a sniper and snipers should 1 shot because they are snipers" :popcorn:

3.3 virus? Even the viruses as of now have higher efficiency at clearing mobs of infantry thanks to their ivanbomb-like logics and certainly were used way more than snipers despite their lower range.

Recently, I have made a custom challenge of my own, that involves preplacing tons of snipers behind trees, and guess what?
People just cleared them out with Giants/Godsbanes and basically Foehn stuff even when I had Mirage Tanks and Terror Drones supporting them while restricting the usage of air units. That's how terrifying the snipers are right now, so much so that they can't even inflict much casualties on Foehn infantries in general.

 

Oh, if we are gonna go around with 3.3 virus balance standards for reference, then why does Tesla Crusiers, Abrams and Catastrophe Tanks with desolators in em can run over just about everything on the ground? I'm not sure about your definition of balance, but when you have those 3 tanks running everything over, why are you even concerned about giving Snipers the damage needed to actually do their job?

The Apocalypse Tank is meant to fight most conventional weaponries and come out being the survivor, or else why the heck do you think it's called the Apocalypse in the first place if someone could just avoid it just by going aerial instead? Also, please remember that even though it's a "relic of the past", it's still meant to be a super tank packed full of firepower in the first place, and it's supposed to strike fear into anyone, whether they are on land or in the air.

Please remember one thing... MO is done by people who spared their time to do so, and in my opinion, the voices are fine to me, especially when you consider that recorded voices may be slightly distorted or done by people who don't have the correct accent for a specific unit from a specific country.

Revolution Challenge with Quick Game turned off is impossible to finish as parade units keep spawning.

Perhaps you could add a feature that the parade will stop after the Kremlin Heart is destroyed.

It is still possible to win in the Revolution Challenge even with short game off. You just have to intercept the whole parade from the start. :p

A Chinese Challenge?

Been there done that. Let's see

- Qilin got buffed into firing 4 mini nuke shells and faster than Bulldog
- Nuwa Cannon has triple its' speed and 5x as wide radiation range. Explodes in Tactical missile explosion.
- Centurion gets radiation radius like Nuwa and 2x speed, explodes in Nuclear Missile superweapon, also blows your nearby flying jets.
- Eradicator uses Krukov weapon.
- Cyborg Prototype drops and uses irradiation MG.
- Wallbuster is a mini nuke
- Tactical Missile strike EMPs

etc. etc.

If that's good enough for you, I'l fetch the download later

You forgot to mention the Sentinels that basically denies all air units in its range :p

First things first... This is ridiculously misleading...

To get to the point, these guys need a decent buff, to be honest. Range advantage isn't gonna help much when they are helpless against almost everything else except for dogs/spooks. At least give them some anti-infantry damage buff or just render them immune to T1-2 vehicle crushing... There's way too many times they couldn't even do their job properly because their damage is way too low and then they will just get crushed by almost any MBTs/miners which doesn't even need to fire at them or people just used T1 infantry to mow them down effortlessly. 

 

For comparison's sake:

Lancers have immunity to dogs/spooks and T1-2 vehicle crushing + Anti-Vehicle/Structure capability + High Health

Pyros have Anti-Infantry/Structure splash damage + Lower Cost

Duneriders have similar range + immunity to T1-2 vehicle crushing + Anti-Infantry/Structure splash damage + Amphibious capability + Higher Speed

 

P.S.: By the way, they cost $500 each and yet they can't even do what they (are only supposed to) specialise in, which is... well... Anti-Structure? Hello?

Let me get this clear, I suck both as a PvP player, AND as a PvE player.
(In fact, I can't even deal with a hard AI and I still lost about 85% of the Versus matches I've joined/hosted online)
However, at least I don't go around complaining just because any means to ROFLstomp the AI have been changed, which is what X1Destroy have been doing.
If ROFLstomping AI players (which are mostly dumb, and inflexible) can get you considered as a pro PvE player, then I could also easily achieve that by spamming HH against the AI and call it a day.
