I dont have a cracked version. But, i know the problem and found the solution for both, this explosion bug AND to be not able to log in. But its in german...if you want i can translate it tomorrow.

It had something to do with the copy protection which caused a wrong entry in the registry before the installation (after entering the product key). Maybe you put this into your common issues after translation

I am not playing Tiberium wars I only play cnc generals zh. And i can confirm that i only use gentool on my laptop (here everything works fine at my parents home, only in my own appartment i cant connect to others) and on my desktop pc as well (here I cant log in). Can you confirm the weird error which phil found in my log?

EDIT: Ok guys something REALLY weird is happening. If I want to play single player vs computer (on my desktop pc). All my units explode after ca. 30 seconds and i have lost, 5 times in a row now???? WTF

Any further suggestion what to do?

Hey Felix,

try to start the game ONLY over gentool. To do this, unhook your game in the cncOnline-launcher.( You dont have to do this is you havent hooked it in the first place.) Then, start your original zh.exe (properties of the zh.exe: compatibility: XP SP 3, "run as administrator").

If the game freezes at the start and another error window occurs, go into your "documents" folder in the C-partition and place an optionS.ini file in the cnc generals zh data folder. You find plenty of possibilities what to write into this options.ini in the internet.

- My Winwos is: Windows 7, 64 Bit, Professional, SP 1, German Language

With "The first decade" I was at least able to log in. But I could not join people and i did not find a german 1.03 patch for TFD so i decided to install the normal version, as a matter of fact I think this wasnt even the point why i couldnt connect to others but thats an other topic I will start soon after trying few things
