general zh connection problem

10 March 2015 - 01:21 PM

Hey guys,

I am pretty sure where the problem is but i do not know how to solve it.

I can play the game at my parents house without any difficulty. But in my own appartment i cant connect to others.

So I would say it has something to do with the router.

I do not have a DMZ.

Details of my router:

Producer: CBN Inc.

Model: CH6640E

Which port do i have to forward (only 16000?) and with what kind of protocoll?

Is it a problem that my WLAN and LAN is dynamic?

generals zero hour log in issue

05 March 2015 - 03:46 PM

Hey guys, I HAVE READ THE HOW-TO THREAD

as i had some trouble with the first decade (german version), i installed one old normal version one of cnc generals/zero hour.

My system:

- windows 7, 64bit

- CnC generals/zero hour, normal version, Patch 1.04, german

- gentool v7.0

- cnc online

- every shortcut: Xp SP3 and run as administrator

My problem:

First of all, I can log in/play without any problem with my laptop yesterday which has the same system software.

Well, when I try to log into the online mode it enters the next screen (here i can choose on the right side lobby, options etc.). But it stays here for maximum half a second, then it tells me "The connection to cnc generals zero hour online stopped".

What i tryed:

I tryed using only gentool or with cnc online, always the same.

Clean reinstallation did not help.

Turning off firewall and avast (antivir) didnt help

I hope you can help me :) It seems to me that the game is trying to get on the gamespy server..

Cant launch zero hour "CD 1 not found"

15 February 2015 - 06:49 PM

Hey guys,

maybe you've read my last post. There I was trying to get cnc zero hour running on my laptop.

Now I want to play it on my desktop pc.

My configuration:

- Windows 7 (64 bit)

- GenTool v7.0

- First Decade (no steam or origin)

- Firewall allowes cnc

My Problem:

- I can start Generals, but not the add-on zero hour because it doesnt found cd 1

My tryes to solve it:

- Compatibility mode Xp (SP 2 + 3) than it says it doesnt found any cd at all and generals doesnt work either

- Now i have compatibility mode Windows 7 + administrator --> general starts but zero hour not

- Options.ini in the documents folder

- I had to give the right installation paths in the registry...(didnt have this problem at the laptop)

Can i use no cd crack and cnc online? i think not

Shall I copy the folder from my laptop to my desktop pc?

Connection problems zero hour

14 February 2015 - 05:10 PM

______CLOSE TOPIC______ Restarting Computer solved the problem... :I

Hey,

I am new to revora and this is my first post.

My configuration:

- Windows7 (64bit)

- First Decade (no origin or steam)

- Patch 1.04

- GenTool v 7.0

- In my Firewall Settings: - cnc first decade ALLOWED; - cnc online ALLOWED

- Ingame Option: Firewall Port: 16000

- cnc online shortcut setting: Compatibility 7, run as administrator

EDIT: - I just checked my router settings: Port 16000 is unblocked (UPD as protocoll)

My Problem:

- when all players accepted the game, the loading screen starts

- if i have to download a new map, nothing happens

- if i play an official map my progress bar fills up very fast but the others not at all

- than nothing happens for ca. 1 min, after 1 min I am ingame but nothing else is possible

- sometimes the loading screen doenst start at all, then i get connection error

Any ideas? I checked the pinned threats, but acutally tryed them all concerning "connection". Maybe you know one of them i should doulbe check according to my problem.
