How edit campaign maps?

How do I extract the map file(s) from one of omega mixes? I want to edit the time give in 'fatal impact' as it is not enough and I don't like rushing. XCC tools are not able open them.

Now before anybody starts saying "git gud" I would like say that I have played every C&C release to date, and obviously I have finished all of them. But I must say MO does take the difficulty to a whole new level, and that is only when there is deadline/time involved. Personally I hate timed/deadline mission in every game, and not just stradegy games. I really like to explore and why not MO maps are absolutely AWSOME, I hate how I can't explore them in "peace". So far I have only tried MO on casual I am having/had serious problems with some of the missions. I understand that there are hardcore C&C players out there who enjoy this kind of difficulty, but could you guys make it so that the timers wouldn't run out so fast on lower difficulties. I hope you guys could release mix files that have mission where the timers have been removed, or are redicilously "loose" so an old bastard like me could enjoy your maps and story without rushing things.

 

EDIT: So since nobody has  answered my question so I guess I have to assume that MO team doesn't want anyone "fiddeling" with their maps?


Paradox Engine in Hamartia mission timer for time freeze not counting down.

Sorry for asking stupid question but I am pretty new to mental omega. I am at the last allied mission Hamartia and so far it is kicking my ass. The steady flow of enemies is staggering. I thought maybe the Time Freeze would help, but for some reason the timer is stuck at 14.59, and isn't counting down. I had paradox engine land in my base, and then it flew back when it was done supposedly from recharging, but as I stated the timer is frozen(no pun intended). Did miss some part of the "dialogue" that explained why the paradox engine isn't working? I've been playing C&C games since first one, and I am using casual difficulty, but goddamn the mission seems unbeatable, especially when you get sneak attacked by the back of your base eventually. Any one got ideas?

 

P.S no git guds....something more constructive please.


Allied mission 21: Relentless broken?

The mission starts with initial assault on the beachhead, the troop transports move past the screen, and deploy the troops inside them on the beach. First of all it takes weirdly long time for the screen to move to the beach so you can actually see the assault, so when the screen finally does move there most of the allied units are already dead, and then nothing happens. You are locked out of the doing anything, since you are never given actual "battle control". The game just sits there and nothing happens.

 

By the way I am LOVING this mod. The campaign map of insanely good! I hope you fix this soon so I can continue my campaign.

EDIT: Okay I don't know exactly what is going on, but I decided to load the 'Relentless' mission from the Mental Omega Launchers campaign list, and now it worked just fine. I have no idea why the mission didn't work, as it was suppose to, when I "transitioned" from the previous mission as you normally do.
