Sounds like admin right/compatibility settings. Which Windows are you running on and what compatibility settings are you using?

I have windows 10 and RA is in Windows XP pack 2. There were some problems in which the game would turn purple etc because windows 10 couldnt handle it, so people told me to change to windows XP in compatibility. Everytime I open yuri's revenge it does ask me to press Yes or No so maybe that has to do with the admin stuff?

 

the (yes/no) stuff is "the running as administrator". 

 

I also have windows 10 and the game is working just fine for me. here is what I did :

1- set the gamemd.exe and syringe.exe to administrator and windows xp service pack 2

2- if the game does load but not launch, try using the compatibility troubleshooter that is just above the administrator check box, it will suggest a color and resolution that is it thinks is compatible with your device. if it doesn't work then undo it (do this to gamemd.exe only)

3- go into the settings for mental omega inside the client and put these settings : windowed mode : off, back buffer off and renderer is TS_DDRAW. 

 

again...this is what I did and I don't know if it will 100% work for you but i hope it helps.

 

I did what you said, now it says: qres: Cannot run "C:\program files(x86)\origin\command and conquer Red Alert II\syringe.exe" "gamemd.exe" -SPAWN -CD -LOG -SPAWN

 

Nevermind, I changed the client to run as admin and it work!!!

I want to thank you guys (HandepsilonNablis123) so much for all the help!!
