I deal with this report and the confirmed reports against the Revora member
UMRNTEK together in this post.
On 17 June 2015, the player
cuno (Revora member:
CTEK) was convicted of knowingly using a map in Kane's Wrath which appeared to be an official map but which had been manipulated to give him an unfair advantage. His access to C&C:Online was suspended for seven days. See
here.
On 14 January 2016, the player
ALISTEK (Revora member:
UMRNTEK) was convicted of using the same map similarly to cheat other players. See
here.
On 14 January, the player,
KIM07 another account of
UMRNTEK was
convicted of using the same map, again, to cheat.
Although it appeared that
CTEK and
UMRNTEK were playing from the same internet connection and might have been the same individual, it transpired that each player was using a different computer when they committed the offences. I have taken the view that they are distinct individuals playing from the same household.
Today, both
CTEK and
UMRNTEK have been convicted of using the same map again to cheat on distinct occasions. See also this confirmed report against UMRNTEK;
ALISTEK - Hack Map/Money Hack - AoD - Confirmed.
While all of these offences were committed in unranked games, being cheated in any game is an unpleasant and usually distressing experience for most players, particularly newer players. It is clear to me that this misconduct has so far been cynical and relentless and it will be taken seriously. To reflect that, I have suspended the access of both players to C&C:Online for 28 days. Needless to say, any attempt to circumvent that suspension will be met with much more severe penalties.
UMRNTEK suspended from C&C:Online until after 27 February 2016
