Well a clue is in the title...

What OLD games do you like playing still on you PC or console??

The first ones that pop into my head would have to be:

X-Wing Alliance
Quake (Classic Game)
Any of the Lucas Arts Adventure Games (Full throttal, Sam n' Max etc)

Quake, Quake 2, Doom (but those aren't old to me, I only discovered them this year, when I was a child my dad wouldn't let me play because of the blood :p), C&C, RA1, Warcraft II (or aren't those considered old; actually I only discovered them like 2 years ago, I bought WC2 2 months ago, so they are not old to me ). Ok let me think, what is old to me that I still play... Every once in a while I play old DOS games I used to play when I was a kid, like some Pacman, Oilcap, Commander Keen, etc. But only every once in a while. I don't care if something doens't look quite nice (of course it matters, but gameplay matters much more to me). I just play Quake, Quake 2, Doom, Unreal, UT, WC2, C&C and RA because they're relatively new to me. But great games will keep you play for a long time I guess :p.
BTW What Zelda games do you mean? The ones on the N64 or on the CD-I? We have those from the CD-I (Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon, and Link: Faces of Evil, Zelda 3D I didn't like much) and those were great. But at least 5 controlles were destroyed, and they don't sell them anymore, so playing is really hard.. But those were nice games, I would play them again if we had a decent controller.
EDIT Oh yeah, and Dune 2.

ames do you mean? The ones on the N64 or on the CD-I? We have those from the CD-I (Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon, and Link: Faces of Evil, Zelda 3D I didn't like much) and those were great. But at least 5 controlles were destroyed, and they don't sell them anymore, so playing is really hard.. But those were nice games, I would play them again if we had a decent controller.

Obviously the Nintendo Zelda Series, That where covered from NES till Gamecube, and is the best gaming series ever made, never played the CD-I games, but from what I heard they sucked ass.. If you dont have a SNES just get an emulator and play A Link to the Past, if preferably Ocarina of Time on a N64/emulator.. I count those as some of the best games ever made.

As for my history with retro gamers.. I didnt really have a good pc till end 2000, before that my system was so low it couldnt run win 95 so though I liked games I never actualyl played them.. except for Wolvenstein 3D and some of those Disney Platforms.. so im trying to rediscover retro gaming once in a while, on multiple platforms..

TOTAL ANNIHILATION WE LOVE YOU!

Easily owns red alert... for christs sake when red alert had crappy 2D graphics and unrealistic crap.. TA had huge armies, majestic battles, brilliant graphics that still make for a playable game today... The music soundtrack beat the living Sh*t out of any C&C games'....

simply put TA is pure undiluted genius and fantastic qualit of game... a level of quality I hope to see return some day...

   :p

oh,almost forgot: Homeworld (though HW2 is better), Warzone 2100... oh yeah!, and Sonic! yayy the megadrive classics :D

Sonic + Knucles lockon to sonic 3 on mega drive. Beautiful. 15 zones, 3 characters and wonderful story, perfect.

Legends of Gaming:

FPS

ID Software - They did afterall create Wolfenstein 3D which spawned FPS

Sierra & Valve - With the creation of Half-Life which set the standards for FPS game even now. And also created the whole storyline to the game. Rather than having "Goto point A, press button B, go back and though Door C, Pickup key, Open key door and end level"

RTS

Westwood Studios - For the whole Command & conquer series as well as the Dune Series. Yet again setting the standards for RTS game.

Adventure Gaming

LucasArts - Purly superb Adventure games. Always making you think as well as providing a good storyline along with it. Unbeatable.

i agree that TA pawns RA1, but ra1 did have a better storyline

but TA is a way bigger game (esspasialy with both the expansion pack on it and with the abbilty to add units to the game with out having to recode the game)
