If PR can change the maps up so Guerrilla strikes are useful, then people would want infantry for their relative stealthiness and ability to traverse narrow valleys and dense wooded areas. If people end up spamming AT-AT's on Endor, then there's a serious problem.

As PR has stated before, they need a broader staff. (i.e. Mappers, modelers, and skinners)

Until then, Land is not going to happen very quickly or effectively at all.

Good point - Ill see if we can map in some - 'forbidden to vehicle' zones....

Not really. One would think any sort of armored vehicle would be tougher than a human, full suit of armor or no. The maps need work so that tactics are useful, especially if PR plans on canon-izing Land. Infantry will be useless in that instance due to their ease of being squashed/shot/blown up. Stormtroopers really aren't much more durable the Rebel Troopers since you can only wear so much armor unassisted.

Perfectly illustrates why I never want to be in the infantry.

The Tri-Tracker isn't a flak is it? The WEG Imperial Sourcebook says that its just a laser cannon with three supplementary targeting systems.

Talking of land changes does anyone find that infantry die too fast??

I have spent an afternoon going through the Hard_Points_Land and all the land units tweaking health and accuracy values for all land items (to my own personal tastes, I might add - separate from PR's work - I have sent him a sample for reference)

Anyone else care to comment??

It's not any one unit in particular. It's everything with a range of over 500, leading to heavy losses among my HWSs.

You could try to find a well balanced anti-artillery unit to counter that.

After testing my land mod, I have two things I'd like to change.
First, I'd prefer if the mercy scripts were disabled.
Second, is it possible to make it so that you can't see someone who shoots you outside of your normal visibility. I ask this to prevent the game from turning into a duel between long-range units, as it usually does.

Yes, but I thought that it was missile artillery, which is not good against infantry. A Tri-Tracker won't exactly work well either. It fires about 1 shot/18 sec.
