Requesting account deletion

From my underastanding there is no "delete account button on this website, and i would rather this profile doesnt exist anymore. would a mod kindly delete all my posts along with this account?

We don't delete accounts.  It's pointless.  If you don't want that name to be seen, or something, we can change it.

You have over 200 posts.  If there's anything in particular you don't want public, give me the links to to those posts here, but we just can't get rid of every post you made.  I'll change your name though.

 

Update:

 

I changed your name and removed the email from your account.  There is literally no connection to you and your account.  If you find any posts that contradict that, show them to me here and I'll take care of the "compromising" parts.

Well... if we delete posts, they won't be public anymore.  They'll linger in our "recently deleted" bin for a bit, but I think the point is that some people are very paranoid about ID theft / hacking fears / future employment issues, and they don't want anything they've every said in public coming back to negatively effect them.  We can't stop people from being paranoid, but we normally don't conform to their extreme requests, like deleting their hundreds of individual posts.  Because these issues aren't actually ever issues on forums like this.
